A tool to recycle plastic bottles into cord for other uses. I find that 2L bottles work better than the smaller bottles as the walls are thinner and therefore easier to cut. In the attached photo above, I got over 7m of cord from a 2L coke bottle in under 5 minutes. Probably could've gotten about 10m of cord from that bottle had I kept going.
To use, carefully insert your favorite #11 Xacto blade into one of the 2 slots, depending on whether you want your cord to be 2mm or 5mm wide. Secure it with an M2x10 screw and nut and that's it, assembly completed. Obviously, the blade is replaceable for when it gets dull, and I recommend caution when removing as it is a tight fit.
Has a hole to attach a lanyard or keyring, or to attach it to a solid base with a screw. A useful item to have in your camping gear or BoB.
