The file 'PitchCar Track Clips For Extension 4 And Misc Other Uses 3D Printer Model' is (scad, stl) file type, size is 20.5KB.
PitchCar: Extension 4 "Stunt Race" is a lot of fun as it raises the track to a new level off the table. Unfortunately, the provided supports for this are just styrofoam blocks that are placed under the raised track, making things less stable than it could be. I have seen some people use binder clips to help hold the track sections together, but since I have a 3D printer, every problem looks like a model design challenge, so I decided to generate some printable clips that would hold sections together without being as forceful or abrasive as binder clips.
I also created a version to work with the Pitchcar_expansion_4_support found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6511075 This printable support is nice but, again, calls for binder clips, so I created a variation of my clip that would accommodate using these supports instead.
There are a few other scenarios where these can be handy, holding together some other creative track designs. They will probably work with the Banked Corner Ramp (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5499342) although I haven't had a chance to test that yet. I am also planning to use it to line up the halves of the Pitchcar Giant Loop (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3439687). At some point, I may try creating a clip specifically for curved sections of track and for curved/straight combos (and 90 degree intersections?), but for now I have printed a bunch of these with PETG and I will test them out and see how well they work.
I have included the OpenSCAD file in case someone wants to tweak the dimensions or the angle or something.
