I use a blister pack that holds a weeks tablets. Pushing the the blister releases the pills through the bottom seal and sometime onto the table or floor.
This design pushes up through seal and by rotating tears the seal releasing the pills into the cup. I used a 12 sided polygon for grip on the outside as a round one I made was too slippery.
