Summary

Pico Thermometer

A simple and fun Raspberry Pi project! Turn an inexpensive Raspberry Pi Pico, a DHT-22 sensor, an SSD-1306 OLED display, and a few 3D-printed parts into a temperature monitor for any room in your home!

Description of Files

I am supplying the STL files for a small box that can serve as housing for your thermometer project. The box neatly fits the Raspberry Pi Pico, DHT-22 sensor, and provides a frame to mount the SSD-1306 OLED display to.

  • bottom_no_holes.stl - The bottom "box" portion of the housing, without a hole for the DHT-22 wires to go through (it is ideal to have the DHT-22 sensor external from the box, so it is not picking up ambient heat from the Pico/display itself.
  • bottom.stl - The bottom portion of the box housing. Contains the Pico and SSD-1306, with a hole to the exterior, allowing you to run wires through the hole to your external DHT-22 sensor.
  • top.stl - The top lid of the box. Screws on to the lower bottom with four short M2 screws. Also has a frame that neatly fits the SSD-1306. The SSD-1306 (128x64 size) mounts on with four M2 screws as well.
