The cutout allows to use stock iron sights without detaching the rail
I also made it about 0.8mm higher
There seem to be no good orientaion for printing this on FDM printer. Best ones seem to be:
-in provided orientation, but that is a challenging print
-upside down
I'd advise against printing it right side up, as bottom is not flat.
Print at your own risk. I'm not responsible for damaged optics because the rail broke.
