Summary

I was asked by a friend to make one of these, but with open areas at the bottom so that they could put some cords through. I went for a sort of minimalistic design, where the cables were only visible from the front for a little bit. The original model I had (v1.1) was of similar design, but the ledge for the phone was a bit too high, and so was the bottom hole. I tweaked it and widened it to fit larger phones.

All I can say is, if you want to print this, be VERY sure there is enough layer adhesion or bed adhesion, as it is a 5-7 hour print and takes a lot of filament. Unfortunately the first v1.2 (current model) I printed suffered from severe cracking and splitting, and 20 meters of filament went down the drain.

If you can do that, then this is a great, practical print that you can use every day! :)
