For some unexplainable reason the included holder for the Philips Hue remote is too narrow to cover the standard size hole for European light switch installations. This means that if you want to replace your standard wire-based control systems with a Hue system you either need to install unsightly covers over the old light switches or keep the old light switches in place.
This design is for a replacement holder that is wide enough to cover the hole left by the original light switch.
The holder is printed as two parts that are snapped together. Three 5x2.5mm neodymian magnets are used to hold the control in place.
The FreeCAD design file is attached. Feel free to change it for accommodation of e.g., differently sized magnets.
