Summary

This is a replacement plug for PFAFF Hobbymatic 919-1 sewing machine foot control (pedal+AC cable). I got the machine without the foot control and decided to reuse an older pedal from a different manufacturer, however these plugs are not available separately.

The plug is very basic in design and uses metal prong connectors (terminals) from a generic wall tap adapter (I used an US model tap adapter so European ones might have different dimensions). I included the original FreeCAD models so feel free to adapt the design for your own purposes. The models are made with simple solids and cutouts. The plug is printed rather crudely due to my printer limitations however the models are more smooth.

I used old Kenmore 1.2 A foot control that also has three terminals (live AC+pedal, neutral AC, neutral pedal), the wire thickness is 18 AWG. The wiring is important with this one. Refer to the pictures I provide. In short, two live wires go to the central connector and two neutral (one from pedal, another from AC cable) go on the sides but make sure you follow the right order. It's the same design PFAFF uses in their pedals.

The plug is glued together after the wires and terminals are soldered so the structural integrity and insulation are maintained and to prevent wires from jiggling inside. I used epoxy glue. If you prefer to use screw terminals or a screw to hold the plug together make sure you have enough space to accommodate them, you might need to adjust the model. I removed the wire divider on the top part in the final model (you still can see it on one of the photos) because the wires were a bit too thick to fit in with it; it's unnecessary as wires have the bottom divider anyway which holds them snugly.

Here is the compatibility list for this foot control in case you have a different machine and wonder if it will work with yours:
