The file 'PEX Clips – 90° And Straight 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 584.3KB.
PEX clips to neatly install pipes with 1/2" ID. Possibly could be used for other size pipes by changing the dimensions in your slicer. I only have 1/2" to test with.
The straight clips have a very tight tolerance for the PEX and give a satisfying snap when inserting pipe, so there shouldn't be any issues with the pipes falling out of the clip. The 90 clip has looser tolerance to allow for easier insertion of tubing.
Supports are needed for the 90 clip unless your printer can handle large straight overhangs well.
PLA is fine for most uses, but for hot water situations, use a filament with higher melting point such as PETG as the heat may warp the printed parts.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Cold PEX tubing might crimp when trying to insert into 90 bend clip as it did in most of my testing. Could just be the brand of pipe I used, I can't say. It could, also, break the clip if the pipe is too stiff.
To prevent crimping, heat with heat gun on low setting until just pliable enough to bend without crimping. If you get the PEX too hot, the pipe and clamp will melt and deform.
Consider sending a tip to encourage makers, like me, to make more designs to share with the community as a lot of time is put into these designs and filament wasted in prototyping can get costly to bring these things to you at no cost.
