While I know auto pet waterers can be readily purchased, I decided to make my own. I got a plastic pan from a local farm store that was 4.5” deep and I had an old 1 gallon Coleman PolyLite personal cooler sitting around so I designed a stand to hold the personal cooler 3” from the bottom of the pan. I drilled a 5/8” hole in the lowest surface of the cooler’s lid and removed the built in straw and o-ring. I used food approved PETG filament. The two halves of the stand are connected using four #4 - ½” long stainless steel panhead screws. This setup makes keeping my dogs water bowl full a lot easier.
