The idea with air duster can is not new, but those products are expensive or you can’t find them in your country. So I came up with this one, I made the electronics part simple as possible, you don’t need to know much about electronics, just follow my wiring diagram.

The air can used is from DATA-FLASH and widely available in the EU, from stores like Conrad and Amazon, see below at the end for more information about the air can.

Before you put everything together, test the electronics, dial in the timer before putting in to the enclosure, have patience while dialing in the timer, that’s all.
Putting the device on air can requires little force, make sure that all supports are removed from the print, especially at the splits around the can. Bottom part is not needed, but it makes the device sturdy when it is placed somewhere.

Every time you put 12VDC on the PET-SHOOO! It will take at least 1 minute to IR sensor settles down.

Power supply:
You can get any power supply you want, make sure it is 12VDC and at least 4A, the reason for high current is the door actuator, I choose the Renault one because the standard ones where to big and where requiring 6A. I am using 10A power supply but the reason for that was the bigger actuator I was using in my concept testing.

Printed with Anycubic 4Max, top part needs supports.

Don’t mind the print quality of the top part in my pictures, I was using a cheap PLA filament for first time (and probably last time too) and I had extrusion problems, I thought it was my hot end but found out that I had to print with this PLA at least 20C higher than they suggested, that’s why the lower part of the print had under extrusion.
