]I use shallow 6" stainless steel pet bowls to feed the pets, but our dog Bowser is now a little old man and it's getting hard for him to bend over to the floor to eat his food, so I designed a little platform to lift the bowl up a bit to make it easier for him.
There are ton of these shallow 6" stainless steel bowls available out there, but the ones I am currently using are these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BRPMC667
There are two heights - one is about 50 mm tall (about 2") and the other is a little taller at 70 mm (2.75"). The shorter one could stand to have a slightly deeper pocket for the bowl, but it works.
I'm including the FreeCAD projects so you can modify them for different bowls and heights if you want.
(Please excuse the poor quality prints in the photos - my printer is not super happy right now)
