I designed the PET bottle opener last year (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3971787).
However, in order to attach the opener to the PET bottle cap, the opener had to be rotated. I thought it would be difficult for some people to do both pushing and rotating.
I was looking for an easier way to put on an opener.

One day I came up with an idea and made some prototypes, and I got good results, so I decided to introduce it here.

[idea]
I make some fins a little shorter. So that only the long fins make contact to cap and short fins support the long fins. Furthermore, the height of the fins are changed from 12 mm to 8 mm.
With these two measures, it became possible to attach the opener with about 1/4 the force compared to the previous opener, and it became possible to insert it straight into the cap without rotating it.

-PETG. ABS and PLA could also be used
-no support
-infill 15%

-thick type with a thickness of 22 mm
-thin type with a thickness of 10 mm (It became very thin. Previous thin type is 14 mm)

[How to use]
-Open ... Insert the opener into the cap with the dented side down and turn it to the left (ccw).
-Close lightly ... Insert the opener into the cap with the dented side down and turn it to the right (cw) until you hear a ratchet sound.
-Close tightly ... Insert the opener into the cap with the dented side up and turn it to the right (cw).

[durability]
I've been using this opener every day for over a year and haven't had any problems. It proved to be durable enough.
