Yes the model is 308mm long (I have a 320 mm Y axis) See "My Things" for the upgrade.
If you can print only 240mm you can resize the Y axis to 77% (.77 factor)
Designed to hold quite a loaded shelf. If you too are mounting on a hollow door, BE SURE to use anchors. (those plastic white inserts that only a "Handy Man" uses!) :P
