The file 'Percussion Frog 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 5.6 MB.
This is a percussion frog or a guiro I designed. I based the design off of a wooden one my grandpa has. The only part of the model that needs support is the mouth, the rest of it including the roof of the inside can support itself. Since supports on the inside would be extremely dificult to remove you need to use a slicer that lets you block suports in certain areas of your print (like Cura or some other slicer).
To make it sound good print with a high infill. I used 90% and it sounds great, but I haven’t done any testing for lower infills.
Update: I made the model the right size instead of tiny. You can print at any size (maybe) but this is a good medium size.
Second update: Depending on the size of the print, you can make the frog have a higher or lower pitch. I made mine a little buddy which was about half as big, and found that it made it much higher pitched. So conceivably you could make a whole bunch different sized ones to correspond with different notes.
