Summary

Replacement drive gears for a Pentair / A&A 6 Port Actuator T Valve (whole valve part numbers 224420 540437) for pools, usually used as a distribution hub for in-floor cleaning systems. These replace just the gear parts of the drive chain. Once the drive assembly is removed from the valve body, simply pop off the old retaining clips with a flat tip screw driver, remove the old gears, drop on the new gears (all the same shape and size) and reapply the clips (make sure they're not pinching and restricting the free spin of the gears). Reinstall everything and enjoy your rejuvenated gear drive!

If your clips are damaged or get lost after removal, you can replace them with any M4 star lock washers (e.g. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07JBBK95R).

Recommend printing with PETG filament (UV and water resistant) or Nylon PA-12.

Note that the gear teeth are oversized in the STL file. This is intentional. When printed with a traditional FDM printer the teeth will round slightly and lose length, so the extra size compensates for that. Even still, it is highly recommended to print with a 0.25mm nozzle for the most accurate tooth size in the final printed result. If you print with resin, the teeth will likely come out slightly too big, but they may still work (there's a lot of slop inherent in this drive mechanism so it will probably still work out), but you're on your own there.

Print with the orientation and supports as shown in the slicer images. The propeller gear and shaft will need to be glued together with an epoxy for strong hold and resistance to the elements. There are four extended teeth on the shaft that will act as alignment and locking keys with the propeller disc. The rest of the teeth on the shaft will act as depth stops to ensure proper insertion depth of the shaft into the propeller disc. This is printed as two parts in order to dramatically reduce the demand for supports.
