The file 'Pen Holder For Creality Ender 3 (plotter Mod) 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 6.2KB.
An attempt of a screwless pen holder upgrade for the Creality Ender 3 printer. It's a 2 part thingy that should snap fit on the fan housing and securely holds e.g. pen, pencil or other tools to plot, write, paint or measure with. It is very easy to mount/dismount and should provide enough stability to draw precisely. It may fit on other Creality 3D printers like the CR-10 as well, but I can't test it.
The Pen is hold by a rubber band to give it a little flexibility on the Z-axis. At least in my experiments, this produced a slightly better result.
This is still work in progress, but should work fine if printed well. I print the pen holder with supports.
Updates:
Please note: Hang in the mount on the fan grill first, then push down until it snaps in near the nozzle. The mount has a little taper on one side, so slide the pen holder part in place from the front until it fits. Mount/unmount without attached pen or pen holder may be easier. Pull the little lever down to dismount from the fan housing (near nozzle).
(Used Inkscape to write the gcode. Don't forget the offsets. There are many plotter mod Tutorials...)
