It's a grid inlay inside an IOShield. Simply cut away the areas where your ports are to make a custom backplate.
Instructions:
1 - Pop it into your motherboard backplate area.
2 - Align your motherboard with screw holes inside case.
3 - Mark out your port areas on grid shield.
4 - Remove from case.
5 - With an Exacto knife or sharp blade on a flat surface cut out the grid areas to expose your ports.
6 - put it back into your case and repeat until happy.
Alternatively, you can use it as a template to cut a plain IO Shield but I'm personally happy with the results of this.
I've personally misplaced a number of IO shields that this is a happy replacement and Im not talented enough to measure and recreate an IO shield so this really works for me.
