Hi There

This is a very tricky part to get right. 3d printing causes a rough surface where yarn gets caught and causes issues. If you try and sand it smooth, it could make the snagging of the yarn worse. Someone suggested using some nail polish which I think is a great idea to get a nice smooth finish to prevent snagging of the yarn.
I dont have much time to answer people's questions on what could be wrong if you have problems after printing. I have printed a few and they have worked, some better than others. you may want to get a few feeders printed and use the best one in the end :)
If you would like one printed, and you dont have a printer, I can recommend

and he will post items from Britain
Hope you enjoy the plaiting device :)
