I really liked WranglerMan's Party Plate featured here on Thingverse - http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:627493 - its an awesome design.
I wanted to make something that fit just a little better on my print bed and that printed a little easier. Slightly more angular with a little different look and feel.
Prints great on my Printrbot Simple Metal in PLA using .2mm layers.
