Summary

Working on it, i will keep upgrading the info and files.

This Adapter allow you to use parkside 20 X Team Battery on makita tools.

I´m a makita 18V series user and i hate the prices that they charge to buy their battery´s.

The other day i was walking through a local lidl and i saw this X20 team Battery for 16,99€ for a 20v 2000mah battery.

That made me think if it was possible to adapt to my makita tools.

So i bought one an take it appart to look into the inside an take some measurements.

The battery its really good constructed, it has the typical 5s 18650 cells that are "Parkside" Branded but they are samsung cells wrapped up with parkside info.

Also it surprised me the balancing board with current and temperature protection.

After my measurements the pinout of the parkside battery are quite different from the makita ones.

The positve and negative terminal are in the opposite side so the better way to install the battery is the opposite way to the makita.

Also, at least for now, the temperature protection in this adapter regards only on the built in parkside pcb, because on makita battety and tool sistem, there is a third pin that needs to have the same voltage that the positive pin. That´s the way the tool know if the battery its running ok.

On the parkside sistem, it´s not the same way and there ir only one positive output pin and the others are negative terminals, with diferent resistance.

So in this adapter the possitive and the third pin should be comunicated to send the tool the signal that the battery its OK.
