I created these to cover the oiling holes on my Atlas 10F lathe, to keep them from being clogged with chips and grime as they were when it came into my possession, but they are parameterized so they are reconfigurable for basically any conceivable use
You can vary almost every measurement of these covers, so have at it and customize it to your needs!
The default settings and scad files attached fit the carriage holes on my lathe and are low enough to not interfere with the compound rest.
You can print it with a pickup handle or knurling, and in the case of the knurled version put an optional label on.
On my Atlas Lathe, oilplug_small_knurled.stl is sized for the tailstock, leadscrew, and compound slide oil ports ( preset=1 or (hole_diameter=3, cap_diameter=5, plug_depth=4, cap_base_height=5, knurling=true, knurls=4, knurl_protrusion_portion=0.2, label=false))
Whereas oilplug_knurled/oilplug/oilplug_knurled_labelled is for the cross-slide ports.
( preset = 2 or (hole_diameter=5, cap_diameter=10, plug_depth=3, cap_base_height=3, knurling=true, knurls=2, knurl_protrusion_portion=0.3, label=false)
