Fitting multiplier scales the diameter of the push pins. 1 works fine for me, if it's too loose increase the value, if it does not fit through the holes decrease it.
The uploaded example is for a 5-8 plate( 5mm hole diameter, 8mm hole distance, skipped 1 hole) with 2mm thickness.
