Summary

Parameterized Socket Holders for 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2" drive Metric and SAE Sockets. Design includes recesses to glue in molybdenum disc magnets to hold the sockets in place.

The socket dimensions were measured from a Craftsman socket set but I've provided the parameterized Fusion360 files that you can customize to your needs.

DISCLAIMER

The .f3d files I've shared here are Fusion360 archive files. They contain the parameterized 3D models I created to make these socket holders. For those who do NOT use Fusion360 I've added a zip file containing all the STL files I used to print these. Unfortunately the STL files are customized for my needs and as such you may encounter the following issues. I'll provide them here in case they are of use to someone.

  • Your socket dimensions may be different than mine.
  • I made educated guesses for the diameters of sockets I do not own (and thus could not measure).
  • My print bed is 350mm x 350mm so I was able to print some of the smaller socket holders without splitting them, you may not be so lucky.
