Update 3th October:
Added two new STL files for the lids only. These 'tol04' versions have double tolerance. Hope this will solve the after work for certain printers.
Original summary:
For my Anet A6 I succesfuly use painters tape. For PLA and PETG good first layers. For ABS I apply a thin layer of normal wood glue (D2). Applying when the heatbed is cold, gives an easy and thin layer. The painters tape has to be swapped very frequently. So I draw an easy tape cutter.
To install: Put the cutter over the tape. The cutting side on the outside with the teeth perpendicular to the tape. The lid is placed on the cutter at a 90 degree angle. Than the lid is turned towards the teeth and lift over the pin to lock.
To use: Pull the tape over the teeth with your right hand, while holding the cutter's inside with your left hand's thumb and index finger. That makes pullng the right length easier.
The files are for a cutter with 50mm and 20mm tape. The lid for both the 21mm and 53mm cutter, is the same. Always printed in PETG or PC (NGEN). Don't know if PLA kan bend enough voor the lid to close.
