This is a owl yarn bowl hacked out of a remix of one of my favorite designs the pudgy owl! It seems to work well without any finishing, at least that's what she tells me.
This is a medium poly model, not quite low poly but not high resolution either, It is a large print and to scale in the STL files included here, I have made a version with symmetric wings for yarn out of either side as well as a larger one that takes up the whole build plate on my printer, 210 X 180, of course you could scale that one down if you like it better.
I will post a link to a video how I designed this in a little while but basically I took the dimensions from the yarn bowl in the remix and scaled the owl in the remix up to fit the bowl inside and removed all negative material. Then simply added the spiral. Feel free to do with as you please, preferably don't sell it without letting me know...
