The file 'Oversized On/off And Speed Selection Permobil Joystick Switch 3D Printer Model' is (STL,stl) file type, size is 484.7KB.
The small levers for on/off and decreasing/increasing speed can be challenging to manipulate with decrease dexterity/limited mobility. These enlarged levers increase the surface area to allow easier activation with pinching or pushing/pulling with the palm or side of the hand.
Designed specifically for the Permobil PJSM Version which only has the "horn" button between the two switches.
update - 10/10/24 Added CJSM2 version (larger joystick module with the two extra buttons above the horn) Recessed version
Print Settings:
Two Version:
1) Flush mount - Use removable mounting tape (alien tape) on the round portion of switch - apply moderate pressure for about 30 secs for better adhesion. If mounting tape is too thick, the enlarged switch will not sit flush, but at slight angle to the flat round surface. This will most likely allow the mounting tape to unnecessarily twist and not adhere well. The Scotch removable mounting squares (see picture) may work, but may release too easily.
2) Recessed mount - This version uses double side foam tape. Cut to fit inside recessed area and apply pressure. This version will have greater hold and could damage the actual switch if not careful when removing. Choose this option if planning on using long-term.
