Overhead Projectors are a mostly obsolete product which get thrown away alot in the last years. But those have some nice parts! For example some nice lenses and of course the mirror!

This is an opensource overhead projector mirror frame.

Lasercutting:
The inner sheet should be at least as thick as the mirror.
Die innere Platte sollte mindestens so dick sein wie der Spiegel.
If you have a different sized mirror you can use the FreeCAD spreadsheet to generate a new frame and use the LCinterlocking addons "export" tool to generate flattened "shapes" that you can then export as DXF or SVG.
For stabilty glue the Sheets together with glue.
Für besten Halt die die Platten verkleben.
