This is my first try in designing an outboard motor. It uses 3mm screws for assembly. It also uses 5mm shafts and 5x7x10 bronze bushing. It is designed for a 540 / 36mm size motor with 25mm mounting.
I made this in part due to my desire to test if printed gears are possible to be used in radio control high rpm.
Altho it runs and show promise, the 3d printed miter gears just don't last in a high rpm and high heat environment. The gears melted a bit and I am trying to find a metal or plastic gears that will not cost too much.
This model requires a bit of sanding and grinding as it is not yet a polished model.
Hope you'll find it useful, and if you're happy, tips are always welcome. :-)

If you like the design and find it useful, a little tip is highly appreciated. It will go a long way in my continued design developments and testing for all my design works. Thank you very much!!
