To assemble:
- Print the 3 parts
- Cut a length of filament approximately 5cm in length
- Push the printed petals parts onto the filament length. While these parts should be friction fit you can use additional glue as needed (I recommend Super Glue/CA Glue)
- Gently bend the parts to shape (you can place them onto the build plate to heat the parts and make them easier to bend if you feel you need to)
- Optional: apply a small amount of paint to mimic the markings of an orchid
I plan on returning to this later with a proper stem and pot to hold these flowers, but I think they look cool on their own. Have fun 😊
