Summary

I liked the look of this Cage, by DungeonLester, but when I printed it the lid did not fit. I noticed in the comments that I was not the onlyone that had problems. I attempted to use the Horizontal Expantion setting in Cura, to compensate, but that did not work because the "CageLid" model is not all one peice. And editing the STL caused artifacts.

Anyways, I ended up having to remake the Lid from scratch in Fusion 360, with larger holes. Also the Model is one peice now, so you can scale it or adjust the hole size with Cura's "Horizontal Expansion" if required, no problem. It will print without supports, when oriented with the holes down on the build plate.

Then I decided to edit the Door so that it can be printed easily. I made it so that it lays flat on the print bed. The back side of the bars are flattened sligthly, but I feel it doesn't take away from the look. I also added a support structure for the overhang. So you do not need to add supports in your slicer, but still need to remove the included support.

The CageLid_Remix.stl and CageDoor Remade.stl files are the same size as the Original. I ended up scalling the models to 125%, before printing, so that four D&D minis can fit comfortably all at once.

I am including DungeonLester's Original "CageBase" file here, so everything is in one download.
