Works with my macbook pro and my Sony Vaio SVT151A11L, and should fit most 15" or smaller laptops
This is my first serious FreeCAD design. If you are interested in learning how to make more complex shapes, I highly recommend watching some videos on FreeCAD to learn about sketches and constraints. This stand is nothing like my first (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:745209) , and has a more curved appearance, but uses a lot more plastic. (V2 was so bad when I tried to use it that I didn't publish it).
While I'm very happy with this, I may try another design that tries a bit harder to limit the plastic consumption :)
Print shown is PLA, 2mm layer height, .4mm nozzle on my Prusa i3 chinese clone kit (Aurora Z605). Print time in this configuration was 12 hours and 16 minutes, and it used about 150g of plastic.
Just be careful about bed placement, as it just fits on an 8"x8" heated bed.
