It took the original elegant design and redrew it in my CAD (ANSYS Spaceclaim Engineer). It is pretty much identical in look except for the grips which I did not redo the pyramid shaped ones in the original.
The reason I redid it is because I was not successful in printing it despite following the instructions. It looked fine off the printer but the grips broke off as they are attached by a small tab. The main structural difference in this one is the grips have a larger attachment to the top or bottom as required to function.
Printed in PLA at 0.2mm layer height, 20% infill, 0.4 mm extruder, 3 layers top, bottom, sides, Support? Yes, standard plus added support under curved arms that do not touch build plate.
When you take it off the printer, most of the visible supports should pop off. I used needle nose pliers for some. the 1mm support between the rings and curved arms is a little trickier. I used a flat exacto knife to split it all around the edges. If you do this, you can actually separate the top and bottom at the grips while the center remains connected. This makes it easy to remove the support material.
I exported STP and IGES files in case anyone want to modify it.
You can see it in action in the video.
