I designed these omni wheels because I wanted to make them slip-proof. The plastic wheels slip and the robot can only run on carpet. I tried to use rubber for this. Rubber does not slip at all and these wheels are perfect for any surface.
The construction of the wheels can be seen in the video. These are made on the same principle, but Nature Latex Rubber is used to prevent slipping. 1 meter is enough for two wheels.
The rubber is applied without any glue. As it turned out, it adheres well and does not stretch after a long time.
3 M3 16mm screws were used to connect the two parts of the wheel.
Nature Latex Rubber ID 9mm OD 12mm. Available on Aliexpress or Ebay.
Wheels fit GBM2804 or similar motors.
