This is a replacement for the power button actuator that allows the Olympus TG-7 to be used in the in the SeaFrogs underwater housing for the TG-6.
How to use this, see photos and steps below:
Step 1:
Remove the e-clip on the existing button actuator. A small jeweler's flat blade screwdriver does the trick. Don't lose the e-clip.
Step 2:
Remove the old actuator.
Step 3:
Fit the new actuator onto the post and slot. Be aware of any friction here. You may need to clean up the edges or bore the hole to make everything moves smoothly. You don't want this to bind.
Step 4:
Replace the e-clip.
Step 5:
Confirm the fit with the TG-7 and make sure everything works properly.
