Summary

This part is compatible with the original Olympus Pen from 1959. It should also be compatible with the Olympus Pen S, but was only tested with a non-S model.

How to Install:

  • Remove the top cover.
  • Remove the film winding wheel (Remove the two brass screws holding it on).
  • Screw off the two screws holding the thumb grip (or pieces of the old one).
  • Screw on the printed thumb grip.
  • Put the camera together.

Tips:

  • I would recommend to replace the light seals during the installation, as it is much easier to glue in the seals with the top cover and thumb grip removed.
  • The film counter screw can be removed with a bent paperclip.
  • Be carefull to not leave the camera in the sun if you are using PLA for this part
