The file 'Old School Knife Switch 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 1.6 MB.
This is a quick and dirty design. Non functional of course.
I have included the contacts, blades and pivots as reference, but I will be making mine out of 1/4 wood, and I'll be turning the handle on a wood lathe.
The handle can house a #6 32 rod or bolt if desired.
The Base is huge for a 3D priinter. I will be laser cutting mine.
I modeled the plate into two parts to make it easier to print. It now has a provision for a strong magnet and the Handle has a provision for a Screw. together they can hold the switch in the closed position if you want to add movement to the switch.
