The file 'Ocie’s Duet Wifi Enclosure Box Remix For The Full Bear MK2/2.5 3D Printer Model' is (stl,f3d) file type, size is 3.4MB.
UPDATE 5/21/2019: I won't be keeping this one up to date since the only Full Bear frame you'll be able to buy in the future is the MK3 version (which will be compatible with MK2/2.5) You can find the correct Duet WiFi enclosure here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3642653
UPDATE 5/19/2019: I did not realize that there was a difference in measurement from the MK3 to the MK2/2.5 between the rear Y axis extrusion and the Z axis. This is designed for the MK2/2.5 Full Bear frame. I am in the process of making an MK3 version.
Hey Everyone! I bought a Duet 2 Wifi and planned on making another Full Bear but needed an enclosure that would fit the Duet 2 Wifi on the frame, so I found Ocie's box (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2812834) via someone on Facebook's Prusa i3 Bear Upgrade group. I wanted the box to better fit the frame but not be so tall. Also, Pekcitron made some good suggestions about trying to vent the forced air away from the print area for tall prints, and dissipating heat on the external side so it doesn't pick up heat from the heatbed.
I tried to add some type of redirection for the forced air at the top. I also Shortened the tabs that attach to the Z axis frame so that they fit properly. The hole in the bottom that sits on the back Y axis extrusion has been centered on the vslot so you can use it to help secure to the frame. I made the lid more shallow per request as it was very close to the X axis motor. I re adjusted the fan shroud in the lid to accommodate only the Noctua 40x10mm fan.
I still need to do a couple modifications. I'd like to put a bear logo on the lid as well as put a vslot profile on the tabs so that it seats better and there's less chance to pull the screw through when tightening.
I printed this in PETG without supports and that was probably a bad idea :) My hole at the bottom sucks and so does the colors where the wires go in.
The "extension" slides snugly into the pocket behind the Z axis extrusion; it's just to give you some more room (I wanted to put two Wago 221-413 connectors in there but haven't gotten to that point yet.)
Feel free to download this and modify the parts with the included Fusion 360 files. This was just a start for a way to have a Duet 2 on my Bear frame. Thank you to Ocieward for the Duet 2 original enclosure and thank you to Pekcitron for the Bear upgrades!
And remember, this is a work in progress.
Oh, and for the love of me I can't get the back to orient properly for you to just drag and drop into Slic3r, so make sure the back is to the bed when you print. Use Ocie's print settings.
