The file 'Obi-Wan Kenobi’s Lightsaber (Episode I & II) 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 1.9MB.
Back in the early 2000's I bought a metal Obi Wan TPM lightsaber replica that was intended to have electronics installed but never got around to it. I always liked how accurate to the movie prop it seemed to be, so my goal here was to copy it into a printable version. I've also been working on making a full lightsaber collection from the movies using CaseStudyno8's excellent designs, and this was the only one I had left to make.
I used CaseStudyno8's designs as the basis, reworking some parts to try to match the reference prop. Not an exact match though.
All parts should open oriented the way they were printed. To minimize supports, the outer handle has an optional version broken into 2 pieces using small tabs for connection alignment (these are fragile so I've included the combined version as alternate). The emitter outer has fragile pillars so be careful when connecting to the emitter.
Support everywhere is required for:
handle inner
brass button
handle outer upper/handle outer
pommel
Thanks again to CaseStudyno8 for making my collection awesome!
Update 5/7/19 added a revised version of the outer upper handle with a notch inside for aligning the black grip.
Update 6/10/19 added an alternate emitter that resembles the prop better.
