The file 'O-Scale General Electric GEA Locomotive (State Railway Of Thailand) 3D Printer Model' is (stl, skp) file type, size is 14.1 MB.
This is a super complicated model to print and assemble and at the moment I don't have time to put together a comprehensive assembly guide.
Still I want to provide the SketchUp file I used to design it and the STL files just in case anyone wants to take a crack at putting the model together themselves or improve it.
In the SketchUp file you can see how it was printed out and assembled.
The model includes O-scale track sections for the train to rest on and stops on both ends to keep the train from rolling off. There is a name plaque as well.
The name plaque was made by printing in black first then switching the filament mid-print to print the letters and border in white (PLA).
In one of the photos included you can see an earlier model that served as a prototype to this one. There is still a lot of room for improvement.
This was originally modelled and printed as a one-off gift.
