Summary

This nozzle holder is designed to provide easy access to 30 nozzles, visually organizes them (with custom labels and color-coding if desired) and protects them with a neat looking shell, that is opened and closed super quickly.
Since version 2.0, supports aren’t needed anywhere.
Warning: v2.0 parts are not compatible with v1.0!

What you need to print:

  • 1x base
  • 6x bar
    either type-A [M6 thread] or type-B [M7 thread]
Check compatibility list further down. You can mix both types without a problem.
A low layer height is recommended for the threads to work smoothly.
You can print them in different colors if you want to organize your nozzle with color-coding.
  • 1x ring
    100% infill recommended
  • 1x shell
this is meant to be printed in vase mode with a 0.6mm wall to fit onto the base properly
Depending on your machine, you might have to adjust the extrusion multiplier, if the shell sits too firmly or loosely on the nozzle quiver.
  • 1x labels
...or more if you plan to have multiple bars with the same nozzle size.
In Prusa Slicer you can also split the labels into seperate objects and print them individually.
After printing, just stick them to the bars with double-sided tape.

Additional materials:

  • 12x M3x10mm screws!
(This might be overkill and is probably going to be reduced in future designs.)

Assembly:

With the six bars standing upright in a hexagon formation, put the ring on top and the base on the bottom and use the screws to fix everything in place (like shown in the cut-away view).
The shell just slides over and should kinda snap onto the base.
Done!
You can use the excess space in the middle to store small parts, like additional labels.
