Summary

This is a barrel spacer for the Novritsch SSR4 which stands two inches tall. It fits snug and you may need a soft faced mallet or some hand pressure to get it in there. It keeps the barrel straight and from wobbling if there are barrel attachments like suppressors or tracer units.

It fits the Novritsch SSR4 polymer handguard perfectly, though I don't know if it'll fit the metal handguard. You MUST remove the orange tip and any other barrel attachments first before inserting the spacer.

A raft isn't recommended, however a brim is. Z-Hop is also recommended.

Infill doesn't really matter since the walls are relatively thin. You won't see much print-time difference between 20% infill and 100% infill.

The only thing that needs supports are the 1/4" diameter holes on the side. The only function of the holes is to help get the spacer out of the handguard if you need to remove it at a later time.

If you feel like skipping the supports and the holes come out a little deformed, then oh well. It doesn't affect the functionality of the spacer.

I left three grooves for M-Lok attachment space. It should be enough, but if it's not I can redesign it and add an extra 0.06" space. Anything more than that and it might leave the side walls too thin.

The square notch on the top is only there for keeping the M-Lok grooves aligned in the handguard.

Print resolution is a standard 0.2mm. I haven't tried any other resolution, but I don't think it'll make much difference.

You can use PLA, ABS, PETG, or any other stiff filament, it doesn't really matter. I don't recommend using TPU as it may be difficult to pull it out at a later time.

I'm the original designer of this part, but I have no intention of making it copyright or anything like that. Feel free to copy, edit, and share the spacer as you see fit. I don't care about being credited for it either.
