Visually impaired children who are in the process of constructing an understanding of their world often learn through guided tactile stimulation and instruction using various means, including tactile pictures.
The lack of easily reproducible and customizable tactile pictures in the visually impaired community imposes an educational challenge wherein teachers of the visually impaired (TVIs) must use labor-intensive, time-consuming means to construct meaningful tactile experiences for their students.
These designs hope to take advantage of 3D printing technology to create easily printable and customizable tactile pictures. Feel free to modify & customize!
