So most of the T30's are at the age where the rubber parts are degrading - in particular my 2004 model.
One part that's very hard to find is the upper radiator bush.
I've printed these in ABS for several reasons:
1: Accuracy - they need to be a tight fit. (and they are!)
2: Flex - they need a bit of give - hence the design.
3: Temperature - it gets hot under there.
4: TPE is a nightmare to print, and I have not had success yet.
These have not been tested long term, and are a temp fix until I find new rubbers.
However I'm hoping that the higher temp tolerance of the ABS will hold out.
I'm not treating these with acetone, and I printed in honeycomb fill @ 40%
if they don;t melt, I'll reprint with solid rectilinear fill (100%) and give them an acetone dip to prevent delamination.
Inventor files and dwg are included for your remixing pleasure.
