Summary

Spareparts for Nissan 350Z V6 Engine for restauration and furniture

This is the result of a hobby project of mine. I bought an old V6 engine to create a table from it but I wasn't really happy with the block itself so I redesigned the piston assembly. I bought it with the crankshaft and some pistons (thought I might make the feet out of them now) and had to realise that they won't fit propperly after a paintjob - of course not, but the block had to be repainted to look good and prevent rust in the cylinders.
So I 3d printed the pistons and reassembled the engine, now it looks cooler I think and it "works" again.

In the future I might attach something like a stepper motor to the output shaft to create a mighty fidget spinner haha

  • Rod can be screwed together with M3x30 or longer
  • Piston is made a little bit smaller to fit after the block has been painted
  • The package includes a crankshaft clamp because I think it's very ugly to reuse the
    lower engine body.
  • I made some stands too for M8 threaded rod, cut it about 50mm the hole is 40mm deep
  • I recommend printing the loosefit version because the normal version is very accurate and
    may cause problems while assembling

I roughly designed the parts by using original dimensions, it's not perfectly the same and designed to have better printing results.
