The file 'Nikon BattBlox (camera Battery Storage) 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 9.2KB.
BattBlox is a universal battery holder I designed that can be configured to hold most common battery styles. I have posted several design configurations for other batteries. Request other sizes and I'll add them. BattBlox is a standard 100mm deep x various sizes to suit the battery sizes as needed. Variations in battery sizes have been taken into account to ensure ease of use. The 'Blox' (blocks) snap together to build larger configurations with the 'key' file or can be used as is. Use the 'filler' piece for the ends or if used singley if you don't want to see the keyway. Note that they are two sided. One side is labeled with the battery type, the other is a rounded over plain style. They are symmetrical about the centre so can be used in one orientation or a mix of both.
Nikon BattBlox is designed for most common Nikon batteries. The 'blox' has been made to keep two larger batteries per section, or three of the newer EN-EL14a's. There is room for them to be as-is or with the plastic contact cap in place as long as the contacts are kept in the upward position. This was designed for Nikon, but also stores most other camera batteries with the same shape. For example the Canon NP-F550, which is also commonly used for lighting products, fits two to a segment.
All my posted designs are 100% ready for prime time and have been printed/refined several times with different settings to make sure you'll have a good print. I hope that if you take the time to read this and download, you'll post a make or comment :)
