I was bummed to find out that the Nexus 6 did not have the alignment magnets that the Nexus 5 did for docking onto the wireless charger which made it annoyingly difficult to try and carefully line up to charge. This docking cradle will properly align the charger with the Nexus 6 as well as present the phone at a 45 degree angle.
The wireless charger is flush with the surface of the cradle once the sticky tape is removed from the bottom of the charger.
I've included the source SketchUp files for others to remix which includes the finished model as well as the sample cradle object that was printed to ensure alignment.
