This is a click and stick 2" (M48 threads) filter holder to allow quick filter change by mounting the holder to the focuser underside. This is a Baader BDS whith M60 openning on my newtonian. The covers are there to clamshell and protect the filters when not inserted. I have recesses for 6x 3mmx1.5mm disk magnets but 3 is plenty. Doubles as a satisfying clicky fidget toy.
