This project involves modifying the original AAA battery and small solar panel. While it requires some DIY skills, it’s easy to do and ensures the lights last all night, even on rainy days.

The second design features a complete case that retains the original circuit but replaces the entire head of the solar light. It includes a shade that mimics a light bulb and clips at two points. The solar panel is set at a 15% incline to better follow the sun's path, especially in locations far from the equator. No glue or screws are needed for the case.

A bigger solar panel 54mm or more
Rechargeable battery AA
AA battery socket
Soldering

Battery socket

Glue the solar panel to the top of the case
