JxxKal's design is great but the cover from my Model Y (produced February 2024) has a flat inside and seems to have slightly different distances to the other part. So the cover did not nicely fit.
I reduced the thickness by 4mm and now have a perfect fit. Please note that now only one magnet fits in this part instead of two but this is still sufficient. I also left the checkerboard pattern on the inside as it was because this is perfect for applying the hot glue (gives a very nice adhesion).
